Welcome...proAbility is a grass roots, non-profit association serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. We are a local affiliate of a state-wide and national advocacy organization formed in 1959 by a small group of parents concerned about the quality of life for their family members with disabilities. We presently provide services and outreach to fourteen cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our services are flexible and varied to meet each individual's and families needs.
Who we Are... proAbility is dedicated to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the State of Rhode Island. With a rich and diverse history of forty-six years, we are a family focused organization that works in partnership with individuals and families to meet their life-long dreams and needs.

Licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Mental Health, Retardation and Hospitals to provide services to adults with developmental disabilities. Certified by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services, Center for Child and Family Health, to provide Home Based Therapeutic Services.
